The dimensions of the smartphone are 144.80 x 71.00 x 7.30mm and the weight stands at 155 grams.

Display

The 5.2 inches display is powered by AMOLED. When compared with its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy A5, this second generation model has gained 0.2 inches over it. The resolution of the device stands at 1920 X 1080 pixels which produce high definition images. The pixel density of the display 424 ppi.

Performance

The memory of the device stands at 2GB, which is more than enough for multi-tasking applications. The processor that comes with the device comes with a clocking speed of 1.6 GHz and is an octa-core processor. This is 1GB lesser than that found in the Samsung Galaxy A7; this is mainly to reduce the cost of the Samsung Galaxy A5.

Battery Capacity

The battery capacity of the device stands at 2900 mAh which will allow the device to last for a day. Compared with the Samsung Galaxy A7, the reduction in capacity is 400mAh chiefly due to the thinner profile of the phone. The battery is also capable of supporting fast charging.

The operating system that comes with the device is the Android 5.1 Lollipop.

If we take a closer look at the phones that Samsung produces, the Samsung Galaxy S series and the Samsung Galaxy Note series seem to get most of the attention. Most of the main features of the company are packed into these devices which are high end and expensive at the same time. But now the Samsung Galaxy A Series phones have become a very important part of the company as they are found in most parts of the world at an affordable price.

Display

The Samsung Galaxy A7 has a 5.5-inch display which comes with narrower bezels and is sleek compared with earlier Samsung Galaxy A7. The design of the phone is somewhat similar to the Samsung Galaxy S6. The resolution supported by the display of the Samsung Galaxy A7 is 1080p, which is full HD 1080 X 1920. The display uses super AMOLED technology to produce crisp and sharp images. The pixel density of the screen stands at 401ppi, which can be expected from and AMOLED display.
