On the other hand, Galaxy Tab Pro S also has many features that are able to compete with other premium tablets in the market. It is worthy to note that this is the first device where AMOLED display is coupled with the Windows OS.

Google Pixel C Review – Features and Specifications

Google Pixel C is an impressive device that has been recently developed by Google, which has the capability of competing with Android devices like Samsung and HTC. The only problem that comes with this device is that its software is not as advanced or efficient as its hardware; the hardware is brilliant, but the software is struggling to keep up with the development.

Before the launch of the Google Pixel C, the Google Chrome book was launched; this was not able to do much from a productivity point of view. The Google Pixel C, on the other hand, is a great device which is able to take the maximum use of the Chrome OS. It is able to achieve this feat mainly with the help of the gorgeous screen, coupled with the capable trackpad. After both accessories are attached, it can be just used as a laptop. When the device is closed, the keyboard acts as a cover to protect the screen. Both device and keyboard connect together as soon as the magnets collide with the activation of Bluetooth.

Design

The design of the device is very elegant and has been engineered to precision. The corners of the devices are reinforced by a silver rectangle. The device is slick and sturdy at the same time. This can be only matched by high-end devices in the market. The keyboard and the device coupled together look and feel great.

Display

10.2-inch display also comes with an impressive resolution of 2560 × 1800. Another impressive and unique feature of the display is the aspect ratio which stands at 1: root 2. This aspect ratio is the same as that of a standard sheet of A4 paper while Apple and other devices prefer the 4:3 ratio or the 16:9 ratio. This configuration makes the device more user-friendly in both orientations. The size seems just right for viewing web pages, reading and watching movies.

The other advantage of this aspect ratio is smaller apps ranging to two, four, sixteen can fill up the screen window with each app being the same size. This will allow the device to take multitasking to a new level in the future. This may be the next jump which is waiting to happen in split screen mode which is also being perfected by Apple.

Processor

The device is powered by an NVIDIA’s fast Tegra X1 processor which has an impressive performance in the graphics department. The processor is an octa-core which is designed according to the 64-bit architecture. The graphics are powered by an NVIDIA Maxwell processor.

Storage

The built-in storage is 64 GB, which may not be sufficient for users who download and save a lot of files on the device.

Camera

The rear camera on the device has a resolution of 8 MP whereas the front facing camera has a resolution of 2.1 MP

Memory

The memory that comes with the device is 3 Gigabits which is ample for multitasking and for handling heavy applications.

Operating System

The operating system which is run by the device is the Android 6.0 Marshmallow, which is an ideal for a tablet device.

Connectivity

The Google Pixel C also comes with USB Type-C port which can be used for charging and for connecting external devices.

Additional/ Special Features

The device also comes with stereo speakers which are able to produce great audio. One of the disappointing factors of the device is the lack of a fingerprint scanner and the tiny power button that comes with it. But all that being said, it is an ideal tablet with all the other options that come with it.

The keyboard will take some time to get used to. The keys are relatively small due to the smaller size of the device. The key layout has changed, which can be an inconvenience to users when they use it for the first time. But after using the device for some time, it will hopefully become easy. The device lacks quick navigation and shortcuts which are essential for a work tablet.Main Difference - Google Pixel C vs Galaxy Tab Pro S
