What is Bose QuietComfort 35 II?

The QuietComfort 35 stays true to its name and really is comfortable to wear especially with people with glasses. The band is wrapped in Alcantara and the earphones have plush cushions on the rims which make them really soft and lightweight too. The battery life on this is 20 hours non-stop after a full charge and it can charge up in just 15 minutes to give an output of 2.5 hours. 

There is optimised Equalizer software which delivers balanced audio and helps with noise cancellation and a better experience overall. It has in-built voice assistances like Alexa and Google Assistant which can be used to make a to-do list, check the weather or news etc. It can be controlled via the Bose app and they even have a few lined up playlists on their app or site.

The box comes with Bose QC 35 II, USB charging cable, Audio cable, and carrying case. The QC 35 uses both passive and active noise cancellation technologies which help to achieve total noise cancellation and thus makes it a class apart. It has a dual-microphone system which allows the user to make calls if the machine is connected to their smartphone via Bluetooth.

However, there are some drawbacks like the bass is not as good and the sound may not always be as crispy, also it has a physical start for voice activation.

What is Bose 700?

This is a more sleek, and modern model with colour variants of black, silver and white rose gold being the most popular. This was even awarded the best headphone of the year 2020. True to its name, Bose incorporated patented active noise cancellation technologies which make the listening experience more enjoyable and not only that the TriPort acoustic feature also leads a hand in this process. 

On the flip side, there is also the full transparency which is as if one was wearing no headphones at all and this can be triggered by switching on conversation mode, that changes the settings from full noise cancellation to full transparency. Another thing that sets it apart from most other wireless headphones is their feature of crystal clear calls for both the ends, the technology is engineered so that there are six microphones which work together to cancel the surrounding noises and four mics work to improve the clarity one the caller’s voice.

This has a touch-sensitive right earcup which allows the user to manage volume, calls and voice assistant activation which a single touch. The built-in Alexa or Google Assistant can be used to check the news, sports or even the weather. The headband is stainless steel and has a headband cushion made up of gel-like foam which is soft and easy on the head.
