While sports car manufacturers like Ferrari and Porsche produce several models that range from $250,000 to $500,000 in cost, Bugatti only offers one car model but it is a "super car" that is roughly twice as powerful and costs about $1.4 million. At 1,200 horsepower; 1,106 pound-feet of torque; 4,400 pounds; zero to 60 mph in 2.5 seconds; a top speed of 267 mph, Bugatti's Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse is the fastest, most expensive, most powerful series-production road car ever built.[1]
Bugatti was a French manufacturer of luxury cars from 1909 to the 1950s; they were well-known for the designs of their cars but the company struggled financially and manufactured their last car in the 1950s. The Bugatti brand is now owned by German company Volkswagen (which also owns Porsche). Ferrari is an Italian company.
This is a comparison of the styles (including pictures), performance, power, popularity and price of (current models of) Ferrari and Bugatti cars.
